Telemannia (Proprius)

„This recording was unusual in several ways. The aim was to produce a full length CD contai- ning partially highly virtuosic and complex music in only two days. Such a limited time frame is tradi- tion only among punk bands, and would be considering unacceptab- ly hectic in other genres.
Hard rock bands, in particular, tend to spend months in the studio perfecting the recordings to a state of impersonality. Without limits on time and budget such meticulous polishing is perfectly possible. However, is this ever the best choice?“, fragt Producer Anders Eriksson. „In our case, the time window presents a possibility rather than a problem. It guarantees a spontaneous and straight performance without too much conside- ration. In order to create a vivid recording I have preferred capti- vating takes with character to those with just fewer defects.“
